Attorney Carla Fassbender has over 15 years experience working in public education and pairs that experience with her passion for helping education clients achieve justice. In addition to teaching and leading teachers, she has worked as a legal assistant and advocate since 2015.
Attorney Fassbender specializes in student discipline, special education, and other educational matters in South Carolina and North Carolina. Attorney Fassbender is proud to be a South Carolina special education attorney and North Carolina special education attorney. She represents clients throughout the states of North Carolina and South Carolina. As a former public school teacher, she has attended 100s of IEP and 504 meetings. She also serves as a special education advocate at IEP meetings and 504 meetings in South Carolina and North Carolina.
Additionally, Attorney Fassbender represents clients in auto accidents in South Carolina and North Carolina. She has the skill level, expertise, and education to fight for injured clients. She’s passionate about fighting for persons injured in auto accidents.
Attorney Fassbender graduated Cum Laude from Charlotte School of Law where she worked as a LexisNexis Student Ambassador, participated in the Wills Clinic, served as a teaching assistant, and helped lead the American Bar Association’s 4th Circuit Law Student Division and the school’s Native American Law Student Association.
When she is not advocating for the rights of others, Attorney Fassbender enjoys cooking, gardening, travelling, exploring the great outdoors, and spending time with her family.
